Free E-Book: Can Christians Be Nationalists?

What is nationalism? What is globalism? What should Christians think about these issues?

Following the success of Donald Trump and his “America First” platform, the great political issue of the day has become the conflict between nationalism and globalism. This conflict is not limited to the United States as can be seen from the Brexit vote in the UK and the continuing growth of nationalist movements around the world. Christians must make a thorough investigation of the issue and decide where God wants us to stand.

Can there be a revival ?. Because all churches are centrally controlled it would seem to be impossible through them. Few evangelistic churches even invite testimony or practice conversion . Conversion is discrimination. The Law commands conversion or perfection through Christ alone. Their circumlocution is that , “all are sinners and short of the glory of God” . But what is the sin of the SOdomite? ALl churches except perhaps for the SOuthern Baptist have officially approved Sodomy as “blameless”. The sin is condemning it.

The sermons for United Methodist ( at least church I attended) originate in Den of Corruption from their female Bishop , whom I presume confesses Lesbianism more passionately than Truth.

I have known the word spoken and read and testimony and the use of Bible for excusing peculation .Bill Clinton claims to have read both Old and New Testament but could find no words -laws-that should condemn his misbehaviour . It seems this Pharisee found a loop hole.

I appreciate what is written here but many will not. The last election demonstrated how tenuous and unstable the liberal mind is. Good communication shall always be bread for someone but I fear many confessions and inspiration will be spat upon and crushed into the dust. The usual Jewish response until the Pharisaic laws with these liberals chanting “crucify him” become sovereign.

    Paul, to your point…

” Can there be a revival “- We don’t need a revival, we want the Remnant (Rom 11:2-5 God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying, “Lord, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life”? But what does the divine response say to him? “I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace.)

“…it would seem impossible through them.” – I agree but I also know Luke 1:37 “For with God nothing will be impossible.”

“It seems this Pharisee found a loop hole.” – Interesting that Jesus too spoke of Bubba the Pharisee in Mat 15:14 “Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch.” These kind think they can sneak through holes to pleasure, but they really fall and mire in the ditch to Hell.

“I appreciate what is written here but many will not.” – I agree, but I don’t want the many, I want the few overcomers. What you speak here of is like the Word of God to the dead Church in Rev 3:1-6 “And to the angel of the church in Sardis write, ‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die, for I have not found your works perfect before God. Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”’

This is true . Has there not always been the question of the character of the remnant? Can a nation be Christian? Was not at one time there an understanding of church and state of the values of life? But if the Church was once identified as national , despite the fractioning may be a reawakening of Christ Nationalism.

And though many were not perfected in Christ they did benefit. Such are the Seniors today, a term becoming more pejorative as the consequent Antichristian “country” wastes. It is implied in Gospel of the corruptible condition that one is ” to believe, and hold to or hang on until I come.” As above cited from the Revelation the loyal one is to watch, for he comes like a thief in the night.

Many simile to the church are made: one is the 10 virgins, who went out to meet the groom. But half would not wait. And they were cast into outer darkness after they returned to demand their rights.. It is easy to fast when the larder is full. But it is 2 thousand years now ; yet is Christ not timeless? .” Les it may the days are shortened no one will be saved.”

It is interesting that Revelation reference to the corruptibility (blotting out names) of the book of life conflicts with the gospel. “For if they are of me, they would never have left.” And others.

I have noticed the Chapter of the maligned gospel of Mathew . Chapter 5 known as the beatitudes was once unofficially repudiated by an arrogant, Irish Catholic Priest , though he was not nor reprehenden by a superior. and this sermon more than anything I know describes the Kingdom of Heaven. But it was condemning to State and Church and had to go.

Truth is no longer welcome in any country or the Western World. Most have become the execrable proselyte of the Pharisee. And of the 7 churches : was there not one, Smyrna, that was vindicated? Yes, never was an earthly kingdom promised but a Kingdom of Heaven. Yet one wishes to think , be it Germany or Virginia or other state , that the only reason to live is to become this heavenly kingdom of Christ Jesus as King. Can there be another reawakening?

The State and Church are again one but in the Anti-Christ . But as they have disavowed Christ they have abjured nationalism. The conflict must have a heavenly intervention for the country has lost its identity and purpose; the church its Light and Salt.
