In a recent article for Town Hall Jewish “conservative” Dennis Prager presents what is supposed to be a brief explanation of Judaism for gentile readers.
The explanation found in the article has obviously been sanitized for a non-Jewish audience. Prager makes the claim that in Judaism “racism” is not allowed, despite the fact that the Zionist state in Palestine is ethno-nationalist. The author also fails to mention the Talmud, although this is the authoritative standard in all of Rabbinic Judaism.
But despite these efforts at hiding the true nature of Judaism, Prager does make one shocking admission that reveals the pride and arrogance of the Jewish mind. Prager writes,
“Judaism, too, has a trinity: God, Torah and Israel (meaning Jewish peoplehood and the Land of Israel).
The removal of any one of them is no longer Judaism. It would be as if the Father, the Son or the Holy Spirit were removed from Christianity.”
Prager clearly places the Jewish people on a level with God and Scripture, making them one of the persons in the Jewish Godhead and an absolutely indispensable component of the one true faith. Jewish people are as important to Judaism as the Son or the Holy Spirit is to Christianity. If I as a white Christian ever said something similar about the importance of my own ethnic group, I would immediately be denounced as an evil racist, but the mainstream press completely accepts and even celebrates it when Jews make this claim. Not only does this claim by Prager display a disgusting and dangerous level of pride, but it also goes against the clear testimony of Scripture. Both the Old and New Testaments are quite plain in saying that God does not need the Jewish people and that he can replace them at will.
“And the Lord said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people: Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.”
“And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.”
These Scripture passages crush Rabbinic arrogance, and they teach us the humility demanded of those who would worship God correctly. Christians must come to understand that Judaism is a religion of demonic pride and racial self-worship, not the religion of the Old Testament.
